NINE

This is the story of nine people that one day started to discover each other. Some had already met, others were closed friends, others were unknown..Strong feelings started to grow between them. This is the story of my peer group.
When we first met we were quite different and compatible. We were an heterogeneous group. We have been growing up together (we still do) and we have developed more common aspects, even though we think differences are positive.
We like spending time together, even if just the point, we don't need to do anything else but being together.We like doing things most of the people like to do and we also like innovating with new and original activities like acting in our own plays or doing adventure hiking.
There is an homosexual, heterosexuals and a bisexual person in the group. There are different nationalities too: Morocco, Germany and Argentina. Two of us like dressing in a non-common way. Our families are divorced families, large families, single child...What I want you to see is how various we are and that is good because that is how real life is. We respect our differences, understanding their positive meaning because, even if humans are social animal that need to live within a society , the most important issue is to be happy being just who you are. Even if it is not accepted by your community.
I believe we all have the same status in the group. We don't have more status due to our studies, our money, our status symbols, or if we have couples...

* What can you see?*

Hi, my name is Lizzannne, you can call me Zan. I think it could be a good idea to let you know I am an ALIEN before I start so that you can understand my story. I used to live in Venus and I decided to live my own personal adventure by coming to the Earth, my neighbor planet. I traveled in my grandfather’s old spacecraft, it just needed a bit of fixing to be ready. I’m a young 115 year old alien that wants to run towards life, and I couldn’t just stay here in my planet thinking about the possibility of a different life in other planets of the universe and asking myself: What could I learn from them? What could I show them? My family thought I might had gone mad...
The first thing I saw when I landed was a huge building, how had they built it? I asked myself. Who lives there? I decided to cross the door...No one seemed to be there, the corridors were empty, I was a bit scared...Suddenly, I heard a noise! I looked through the window and I saw a room with small beings sitting down and all of them looking to a big being that was painting some weird signs in a big black space of the wall. Why are they all staring at the big being? What are those signs? And what about the black space of the wall? Why are all the small beings dressed in the same way? Even though they dress in the same way, they have different skin color, hair, sex...  The room had been decorated with colors and signs, what do they mean? I liked them :)
I’m so happy I came to the Earth, I’ll try to be open-minded to learn has if I were a sponge and patient to give each thing the time it needs. I'll start making a new friend ...
